About the lebanese people and their continuous wars their rise and fall |
|
The tears of your majestic cedar trees are weeping once again
Tears of sweat and blood flowing like a grim and wicked waterfall
The screams of your snow-capped mountains are echoing once again.
Screams As shrill as the cry of a mother being torn from her child.
The gun shots of your children are being fired once again.
Gun shots that break through the still air shattering all hope for peace.
Lebanon, You will rise again.
Your cedar trees' roots will pierce deep into the heart of your soul.
Your snow capped mountains will scrape the sky and embellish the heavens with beauty
Your children will make peace once again, and stand tall with pride and love for you.
Lebanon, how much more can you take
Of this endless cycle?
Before the lonely cedar trees shrivel and die, adorning the ground in their remains.
Before the snow capped mountains crumble and fall into ashes drowning the Earth in a Sea of despair.
Before your children's blood will be forever spilled under your crisp blue sky, staining the future with an eminent reminder of the past.
Lebanon, All have desired your body but crumbled and fought at your feet.
Lebanon, All dream for control of your clear waters and died dreaming of the power.
Lebanon, Land of the Purple Empire.
Mother of the Sun, Sister of the Sea, Daughter of the Moon
Will you be able to repress your wounds and rise again?
