Inside a Woman’s Heart
by Rita Schiano

Strange, how one can forget how lonely she is

Peculiar, how pain is a natural condition of woman

Incredible, how you can meet someone who nourishes you

Curious, how one exposure alone can sustain you for days

Marvelous, how the feeling can be rejuvenated by a glance

Remarkable, how someone can understand, and be understood

Miraculous, how someone can love, and be loved.

Such "comments" are worthless and should be ignored. Rude, bitter, useless words and a stalking attitude have become known to all on this site by now.

The hidden loneliness and pain of women, under the mask of grace is sometimes a condition that changes, quite miraculously, as you expressed.

Good day Rita, I read your poem, "Inside a Woman's Heart" I found it ever so true. It took me until middle age before I could have the littlest of understanding of how a woman's heart works. And yes...women are remarkable. Best of luck with your writing. Please feel free to check out my work at either www.freewebs.com/kendoo or here in the "den"

I tend to ramble about in here, looking for gems of verse and I found one in this piece of yours. I love the composition of this, strong evocative words beginning each line...the vivid imagery and lovely theme. Excellent work.
