Young love can lead us through trials that become our triumphs that lead us to new heights. Not all things bad are bad for us but as it is written...all things work together for good for those called to God's purposes. |

Like a bottle of ink that has been spilled upon a pure, clean, white page
So, Fall surges in over the skies, over my heart, with uncaring rage
Me? I feel nothing, like a tree that feels only what the season brings
Just as life, come what may, with no choice against the bitter stings
Who is it that will take my heart into gentle hands that understands what I feel
Memories left, of times it was given to clenched hearts made of steel
Closed eyes, closed hearts, a love that seems far, gone and lost
Relentless of feelings, Fall does what he wants no matter the pain or cost
Leaves drop onto the damp ground, synonymous of the tears on my cheeks, on my pillow
And thus they are collected and scattered as gusts of circumstances billow
Tattered, the pieces are raked into heaps and thrown away
Gathered and discarded in aimless disarray
When will the Spring come once again with fragrant and lightened view
With hope and refreshing brought to existence with the glistening morning dew
To see and feel once again my Autumn moods cry out
What will the morrow bring alas, gone hopelessness and doubt.

| This is absolutely beautiful poetry...the romantic write has two sides and this is bittersweet yet still productive, full of beautiful lines and images. |
