Just for fun.

Desert Treasure

All decked out in a cowboy hat.

The cowboy rode tall, in the saddle he sat.

His boots made from the skin of a snake.

His whole life was at stake.

He rode out through the desert at night.

To claim his treasure in despair.

Only the moon showed him a path of light.

It would lead him to his last care.

Twelve hours did he ride.

Until the brightness of the sun did the moon finally hide.

He was all dried mouth and having no fun.

The cowboy saw what he thought to be a mirage.

It looked like a water well.

His eyes were lodged, and he could not tell.

As he got closer to the well,

He saw the treasure was for real.

As he got a mouthful of water,

He finally felt what he needed to feel

Kinda anti-climatic, but I enjoyed the journey I took with the cowboy . . . Welcome to AD . . .

We've all taken "that" long journey and been pleasantly rewarded. Very visual. Kathy
