One day I sat down and thought of songs I like and using the titles wrote this poem. There is 34 song titles in this song your challenge if you choose to accept it is to find them. Tee hee.

Story thru Poem

One day while cleaning out my closet
I realized I’ve become so numb
I want to return to my wasted youth
When the only thing to do was getting mud on my tires
I find myself longing for yesterday
As memories play over and over in my mind
I want to scream take this job and shove it
Cause my give a damn’s busted
Making me seem like a bitch
Hit me with your best shot
Cause I’ve got nothing to lose
So here I stand alone
Feeling broken
Is this what if feels like when doves cry?
You may say I’m jaded
But I’m only coming down with the sickness
I’m only just a little unwell
I sit with my crystal ball
Watching the flame
While listening for the answers blowing in the wind
I’m sure they can be found
Somewhere over the rainbow
I want to get away and fly like an eagle
But I feel like I’m stuck on a chain gang
Wanting to go home sweet home
To walk in the empty garden
Pondering the thought who wants to live forever
Knowing we should all live like we are dying
After all it’s not the end of the world
We all know that life’s a lemon
And the winner takes it all
We will never have too much time on our hands
And we all want a piece of the American Pie
The truth is in the end
Aren’t we just trying to find Atlantis?

Awesome. Now, post the answers - I hate not knowing what they are. I'm that way --- curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. Bring me back before I die. LOL

I'm not good at picking out song titles, but am good at reading excellent poetry. As this is. Well done, Josephine!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
