Oh...How can i find
The words to say to you...
Shattered pieces of you...
Like shiny diamonds...
Lost in the wind...

i slipped off your pedestal long ago
I fell from grace
Now shame rules my realm
And the guilt i have
Feels like a heavy winter's cloak
That won't ever come off
It's the color of the blackest shadow
That grows across my heart

I know it's so  cold now
I know i haven't been there
Yes, my words are careless
But know you're in my thoughts, always
Believe me when i say
I really do care

All alone...
Surrounded by candlelight shadows
Over the years...
Those hard edges
Faded into softness
All my attempts;
To turn back the hands of time
Have been in vain
Now i'm only left
With the ghost of you
You're no longer the same

Oh how i desire
To fly through the starless night
My wings would blaze
Like they're on fire
(Oh let this dream...
Carry me away)
Still i cannot
Leave my fears behind
When your voice
Echoes my name
How will i be able
To face
The ghost of you
You're no longer the same

Place your frail hand into mine
Let's walk down the path of tears
Through time
Of our memories of our yesterdays
That still haunts us

I know i let you down
"I'm sorry"
Doesn't sound like much to say
(But i am)
If i could slay your dragon down
I would

Fall into me
Swallow my youth
Gather my light
Come back to me
I can't see you
I'll follow the crow to you
Come back to me

Oh how will i be able
To embrace
The ghost of you
You're no longer the same.
