Escaping from reality

Transcending to new waves of promise
I am reaching higher altitudes
And amidst spinning pulsars
I see distant full moons
And the winds kisses make flowers swoon
I see the skyís reflection in the nearest blue lagoon
As I wave goodbye to brother night
And whisper hello to sister morning
I embrace a new day of newfound glory
Iím anxious to have to tell a new story
I see hope lying somewhere in green pastures
And its lushness is begging for me to go after
And happiness is hanging in plum trees
Each branch caressed by the summerís breeze
Somewhere over the rainbow lies a drenched earth
Hoping the sun will dry its curse
I wish I could sleep all day
And let my mind wander to this new place
