Summary:
A poem I recently wrote and wanted to share. Hoping to get feedback :)

Poem:

Fear crawls on my body as bugs
I can feel them crawling on me
I can see them in my mind
Nightmares in tune with time

They whisper words by pillow-side
Words I wish to not hear
Words I can not get out
Like magnets they borrow inside
Until I feel myself losing my mind

An audience sitting in the dark
In the shadows of the night,
watching my torment
Silence, burying me alive
Loneliness, eating me inside
My light entangled in the shadows, succumbing to night

I hate weakness, the weakness that resides
I hate loneliness, the loneliness which abides
I hate fear, the fear that I breathe
I wait for the man I came to hate to leave
But no door opened, no steps fading away
I turn on the light, make believing as day
Filled with too many words to say
Talking in the night, instead of dreaming like people of the day
