NESTING

When I hold my son to my chest
Open my blouse and pull ot my breast
The whole world comes to a rest
A mummy and her baby in their nest

YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND TILL YOU DO

You can't understand till you do
Why I do
You won't understand till you do
Why I continue though he's gone past two
And even if I had the time to explain I'll refrain
As this world has no time for anything which even remotely looks like pain

LOST MATERNAL URGE

"Tell me," she asked
Even though I don't want to breastfeed
Will my milk still come?"
I threww m head back and laughed and laughed and then some
Then I stopped
I looked at this girl
She was older than me
And she was asking this question seriously

WHAT'S IT LIKE FEEDING TWO
(on tandem breadtfeeding)

What's it like feeding two?
That's a thing that few will do
One on the left, one on the right
However do you sleep at night

AFTER THE BEDTIME STORY

What happens then after we turn off the light
After Mummy tucks me in at night
With a little story in my head
When happens when I go to bed

Well Mummy tiptoes down the stairs
Then she tackles all the wares
She makes herself a pot of tea
When she's finally rid of me

One night I tried to stay up late
To catch her in her Christy state
She was just a grumpytired bear
But she was still my mummy dear

I LOVE IT (the beauty of co sleepng)

I love it when I come to bed
And stroke a little curly head
One on this side
One on that side
That is one rule which will abide
