Illusive Dream
Satan’s breath in acrid misty streams
Fills the air with gripping sorrow
Waiting to see if tomorrow
All of this is a dream
His very life so precious
Consumes my every waking moment
Wandering in darkness, to see
Spinning pictures in my head
A heart filled with dread
Trying to come to terms
With what might be
Silent screams pouring out
Visions my mind must clear
As retched torment flows
Like rocks battered by a crashing sea
No, it cannot be
He is still here with me
Loosing, I cannot conceive
God of mercy expel this image
As Romeo to Juliet did end
Instead, I wish for backward time
Where we can begin again
Embraced in another realm
All of this is just a dream ~~
