Each night I lay dreaming of a love so deep,
while the stars shine above, and the worlds asleep.
He takes my hand and we dance in the sky,
and I wonder why,
he is just a dream.

Then as the sun arises at the break of morn,
I lay in bed wondering why I feel so torn.
Contemplating and daydreaming as the day slips by,
and I wonder why,
he is just a dream.

Afternoon turns into dusk and I slowly shake my head,
stars shine above as I lay in my bed.
looking for my lover who brightens up my night,
I turn out the light,
and turn on my dream!

Gotta love it! You led the reader (me) into a lull before socking it to me in the end. (That somehow didn't come out right . . . LOL) Good word usage and I always like a "different ending than what is expected . . . Welcome to AD . . .

Beautiful piece of verse here...great flow and rhythm...vivid imagery. All in all, this is a splendid piece of work. In many respects, this piece could be a pre-quel to my work, La Demono Amato. Welcome to the den. I will be looking forward to more of your work.
