Tween Dreams and Sheer Awe

The twinkling of the midnight stars
Reflected by your sparkling eyes
The music in your sexy voice
And the magic there 'tween your thighs
The hunger that you know I feel
Only and always for you
The desire that burns like fire
Our bodies damp with love’s dew

When we stand beneath that darkened sky
Tight in romantic embrace
The wind gently billows through your hair
As I kiss your beautiful face
I can sense that the passion is building
And I invade your mouth with my tongue
For the waters have now started flowing
And we know that the night is yet young

Let us share the wonder of our special love
Let us rumple the sheets tonight
Let us drift off to the land of dreams once again
And wake with you in my sight
Can you believe that we have this chance yet again
To savor this most perfect love
To become as one both in body and soul
To break through to heaven above

Let our bodies create their own special place
Somewhere ‘tween dreams and sheer awe
As my lips kiss the world’s sweetest neck
While my fingers unclasp your bra
Can we recount the times we’ve felt so alone
As we soar on angelic wings
Can we savor our own special magic again
Can we listen as our souls loudly sing

And as the morning once more tries to find us
As we wake still clung in embrace
I can think of nothing more perfect
Than waking to see your sweet face
And with a slow kiss here to greet you
As together we greet this new day
I pray we will do this tomorrow
And that forever by me you will stay
