The icy fire deep below Just waiting For the moment He will be released I try as I might To hold him down Stuffing each ember Carefully away The tighter I pack The more I stuff The harder I try The closer he comes Till one day There is no more room Not even for one Last ember An explosion ensues Every ember Flies out of control No where to hide Like a volcano Spewing Foaming Uncontrollable Unstoppable As quickly All stops The larva hardens And everyone awaits Until the next time

Nice! Tight, cogent, succinct, and flowing to the final explosive expulsion of aphoristic magma with an undeniable forcefulness not dissimilar to that of Pele's Kiluea! Since I am also of the 'pagan' persuasion, it's quite refreshing to see some skillful non-Christian literary polemics appearing here amidst all the Jesus-inspired effluent.
