Rain

Rain the Sound & Smell
The drops come down & they spread
For as high as I can see up on the trees
Down below to every blade of grass it flows
A sense of how God has planned this day
This day is a miracle, a gift of life
A drink is needed for all of Gods creation
Itís just amazing each tiny drop counts
The smell is not like any other
Its fresh and it is all its own
How wonderful this is to have a new day
Appreciate this rain in a new way
It stays the same
God keeps it that way
You see thatís how he is for us too
He is the same today as yesterday
Todayís rainy day I have a new awaking
If only I take the time to open my eyes to his splendor
We need to just sit
Be still in this presence of time
God has given us a gift
Of smell, site, sound
A sense of all thatís around
