a dream, or a nightmare

I read it in the news. In my dream I was a black man, You said, "be glad it was a dream." but I was tied to a truck and dragged on the road rocks cut into my face, my blood drew abstract paintings into the mud never to be exhibited in galleries. I went down a nameless bloody blackman, killed off in my dream. You said "be glad it was a dream." But then I dreamed thet I was a black man even after I woke up from my dream. You said "stay away from white men when you dream.
