They say the end is near at hand
Once all the oil is drawn and spent
And then the kingdoms built in sand
Return to desert, heaven sent

Better times may lie ahead
When I’ll know my neighbour’s name
The race of rats and phantom gains
Become a tale in children’s games

Ring a ring of roses
A pocket full of nothing
The lies
ran dry
with their greenback crushed

The end is here the planet raped
She’ll be barren till we leave
The pinnacle was here but now we’re falling
But rock bottom may yet be our peak
