A friend's little boy was injured during the birth process and they took care of all his needs till the age of 12. The doctors said he would not have lived that long if they had chose to institutionalized him. He left this earth at 12 and walked into a realm where he runs, laughs, talks, plays; like his brother said, "He is just starting his life!"

 An Angel in Disguise

One day so many years ago
a little boy was sent,
nurtured in his mother’s womb
a love that would not end.

We soon realized that he was
a special boy indeed.
And we would need the grace of Him
who had sown this special seed.

We nurtured him and prayed for grace
as many years went by;
yes, he was a special boy and
sometimes it made us sigh.

But we knew that he was one
sent from the realms above,
to rid us from ourselves
and fill our hearts with love.

We nurtured and cared for him,
our special boy indeed.
God’s grace was sufficient*
as his needs we tried to meet.

“I Never Promised you a Rose Garden,”
is a  song that we’ve heard sung.
It is true that life wouldn’t be that way
but with it heartache would come.

“I didn’t promise I would take
 all of your grief away.
I required that of you
to walk through the water-way.

As you sometimes tumbled and fell,
I lifted you up and held
you lovingly in my arms,
reminding you that I felt

the sorrow you were going through
and the love that mingled in.
Remember that I gave my Son
to rid the world from sin.”*

“But it hurt my heart even though
I knew His purpose then.
But it took you longer and even now
you question why and when

that your rose garden turned to dust
along the years you trod.
But, soon you learned that I am not
a God to be put in a box.

I am Almighty God
My name is El Shaddai.*
Mighty is an attribute
to you I did supply.

So now Derek’s work is done;
he has entered through the door.
He was known before, then and after
and his spirit WOW, did it soar!

There were those who were waiting
at the doorway of heaven’s gates,
welcoming him into the place which shows
the matchlessness of God’s grace.”*

Jesus carried Derek
right into the throne of grace.
“Run,” he said, “you are complete
no more infirmities in this race!”*

The race of all eternity
our God had planned for all
of us who have been redeemed,
and His “little ones” who were called.

In ages past He had a plan
only a few can be a part.
A special child in their life
to give themselves a start

to see the heart of God
Who was in you to form,
and grow by leaps and bounds
deposited to conform

you in the very image
of Jesus and He says
“Derek came to live within your home
and now I will do the rest.”

He is waiting for your coming,
he is running all throughout
eternities past, present and future
for “they are all one* he shouts!

“So when you felt overwhelmed
and I seemed so far away,*
you were daily looking at My grace
as you looked into Derek’s sweet face.

You will meet him, and Me, at heaven’s door
where that great cloud of witnesses convene.*
So now you curl up in My lap and see
that “I Am”*will redeem

all the broken plans
that was in your hearts;
don’t despair, I understand
and in this plan I played a part.

I am the Great Jehovah*
don’t put me in a box.
I am too large to fit inside
as your journey took a rock!

But now grab onto
the Peace I have for you.
I am to you Jehovah-Shalom*
I am your Comforter for sure.

                              Love,
El Shaddai*

 God’s grace was sufficient*
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

“I Never Promised you a Rose Garden,”
I beg your pardon,
I never promised you a rose garden.
Along with the sunshine,
There's gotta be a little rain sometimes…

Remember that I gave my Son
to rid the world from sin.”*
                             John 3:16
For God so loved the world
that He gave His only Son
that whoever believes in Him
has everlasting life!

                             El Shaddai.*
                           Almighty God

There were those who were waiting
at the doorway of heaven’s gates,
welcoming him into the place which shows
the matchlessness of God’s grace.”*
                           Hebrews 12:1a
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses…

“Run,” He said, “you are complete
no more infirmities in this race!”
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

                             WOW!*
               Yes! Right on! Whoopee! J

                            “they are all one*
Jesus replied, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I AM…(before time began, now and forever more, I AM!)
John 8:58

            “So when you felt overwhelmed
and I seemed so far away,*
For he hath said, I will never leave thee,
nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5c

You mill meet him, and Me, at heaven’s door
where that great cloud of witnesses convene.*

                               “I Am”*
                             Exodus 3:14
And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!

                         Great Jehovah*
                         The Eternal One

But now grab onto
the Peace I have for you.
I am to you Jehovah-Shalom*
                                   My Peace

                                El Shaddai*

    Almighty God

God has him in heaven helping him and doing many duties he could not do here on earth. I too am awaiting my time am not afraid at age 63 want to be with hubby Tom and help him along up there too and see my Mom and Dad and Aunt Min and Grandpa all gone before me. We don't know the answers to many questions but the answers will be up their for us to find out what we question down her. I can hardly wait but must keep the faith and go on each day and trust God knows when my time is up and i'll be free of pain too.

How sad for the young boy, but at least now he is whole again and free from pain. My heart breaks for this family and I share in the anguish.....

Be always safe,

A very winsome poem, Peg. He was indeed a special child, given by God for a while to enhance the lives of his family. But oh, their hearts must hurt from seeing him go. I will pray for them tonight. I love the way you have poured your own heart into this writing for them, and the scriptural principles you have shared. Your love shines through.
