Terror

the deadly sound of silence
as I sit and wait
I know he's out there
lurking in the dark
the fear is very real
the air draws cold
my heart pounds with anxiety
my mouth dry from fear
the scent of death in the air
I know he awaits me
my next move
where will I go
what will I do
will I be alone
Can he touch me
Does he have a safe moment
to approach
To finish what he started
WIll it happen like he wants
Will it soon be over
living everyday in fear
not knowing if I'm safe
waking with him standing over me
watching me
I can feel his breath on my face
his hands touch my neck
I scream out in pain
My blood can be seen
dripping
warm
as he smiles
his sence of satisfation
once again
I'm alone
It has happened
but this time
will be the last
the ever lasting fight
has come to an
end
