Thinking about a woman I once knew.

Lost Love

As the days go by
I wonder why
You left me here alone.

The love we had
Has turned so bad
I feel I can’t go on.

Times we shared
I cannot bare
To think it is all gone.

I love you now
And don’t know how
That I can carry on.

The only way
To live another day
Is if you will come home.

Almost everyone has lost a love. The thread of many a love song. Memories get fonder as time grows longer.
