Nobody understands the pain, the heart breaking, soul shattering, spirit broken pain
the why me Lord pain
the will this ever end pain
the damn I thought did but its back again pain
years of unexpressed pain
unexplained pain
undeniable pain

This has to be what hell feels like
never ending pain
memories replaying
still snap shots of moments that you want to forget need to forget
hands bound
feet shackled
mouth covered
unable to run
unable to cry out
forced to stand and just feel
feel the anxiety build
the rage overwhelm you
the fear freeze you
the disappointments fill you
the loneliness drown you
rejection continually beating you
betrayal dividing you, compartmentalizing you

But still you stand left only to feel
I want to break free but my past and my present paralyzes me
Iím tired of fighting it the struggle is too hard
the pain of breaking free is more intense and painful than the pain of staying
just standing and allowing what you feel
to just feel
