|The love that you felt at such a young age is beautifully written in this poem. There are parts of this poem that I can still relate to, even at a much older age. The line, "My strength is growing weak
My heart is giving out
When fighting and why you don't understand
Is all we talk about
are such familiar words to me. You have expressed pain and loneliness as a result of the break up. This is a well written poem that I can relate to. Stop in and visit my den sometime, and let me know what you think.

|Ah, this line is the most telling of all . . . "Maybe you can't change.." It is age old in its conception . . . Eve making Adam over with the apple. Okay, so that is a story that did or did not happen, but it is used to show continuity about women being attracted to a man because he is who he is, but after the hook has been set comes the "makeover" of this man . . . And usually, if and when, the woman succeeds in making her man over to her desired specifications she no longer respects him and usually considers him weak . . . Just some observations in the continuing battle of the sexes . . .|
