Languages are music and the most beautiful is my mother tongue.

I own every song
that ever crossed my life:

Right now I live the Phantom's score
in my heart each high note is alive
enfolded in the magic lovely cloak
of music so sublime
each note so sweet and true

When I find a song
that touch my heartstrings so
I sing and sing
and listen night and day

When I discovered Edith Piaf
I sang in imitation
all along the way, wherever I went

And when Dalida sang in Arabic
my mind was blown away

While happy German songs
brings the joy of laughter and bravado

Langenhoven's Lullaby for Liefstetjie
will forever ring within my ears
with a sweetness that always leads to tears...

Words, like music, wend their way around our spirits, enriching them if we allow them to--such is this lovely writing of yours. Thank you for sharing this.
