At twilight I reach for the luminescence of my moon,

I who am made from water.

My spirit driven by its essence in hopes

of one day returning.

Its force moves me, controlling

the rolling of my tides.

Dawn arrives and I am still

Barely moving I can hardly conceal

my anticipation of the phosphorescence

which circles the earth in search of me.

I am an organism of the true deep

I am stimulated by your radiance,

the intensity of which, sets me free to emit

the beauty of my bioluminescence.

I shine for you because you shine for me.

Others may howl at my moon and waste their energy

I care not

My body vibrates in exuberance of your touch

My skin glistens reflecting the twinkle

that glimmers in your eyes

I sparkle when I am in close proximity

of your luminosity

The harmonious pulsating rhythm

of our melodious light

The convergence of you and I ignites -

the dynamism of our souls

My consciousness awakens through the

vitality of your brilliance

I am propelled towards you on

a wave of unseen magnetism

The thought of which mesmerizes

every part of my being

I am in awe of the prominence

of your dignified magnificence

My love, My moon.
