In my life I've seen people suffer
Only God knows why they must of
But in there time of need,
Lies a passage we can not see,
Through the doors of the good,
Is a man who understood
Only God knows why...

In a wolrd of painless bliss,
Are the people who we miss
But on this earth all's we see
Are people weeping with misery.
And in their resting place,
Lies a stone to mark their space.
But through the doors of the good,
Is a man who understood.
Only God knows why...

So here I am ath this place,
Looking for a special space,
The resting place of those I knew.
But as I turned from the steeple,
I could see the sorrow stricken people.

Filling the emptiness of my mind,
As I watched the stones go by,
Down the path I have walked
With the flowers I have brought.

So here I am at that space,
The final resting place.
Filling the emptiness of my mind,
From the stone that's in my eyes,
And i ask God...Why?

Well damn it Jessi, I'm not a big believer in faith or religion..but there are remarkable questions that we should all be asking at some point in our lives....most of them starting with that one word...WHY.
