FOUND AGAIN IN A LOST DISTANCE
I am one with the world
The sun, my father
The moon, my mother
A particle in the vast ocean of space and time
I eat, and I eat of myself
I drink, and I drink of myself
I kill, and I kill part of myself
But myself is the whole
and self-reproducing
Growing from the ashes of my existence.
I touch and sense the feel,
Look and there is sight,
Listen and hear.
But the pain of not understanding
What is felt without feeling,
Sighted but not seen
and heard without listening
Kills the heart
and poisons the mind.
But the undying soul lingers on...
A knowing cancer.
I am my own God. Nothing ever dies.
The soul passes from one existence to another
Carrying the embers of heart and mind.
The tide of our lives rushes in...
and slowly recedes
Carrying the shells of our remembrance.
Each phase of life loses familiar pebbles
To our hungry depths
Looking eagerly to the next
But finding the last was the best.
See the forest,
Feel the wind.
Taste the true air of life!
Smell the flower,
Discern pure colour,
Know that we will live again.
Know joy in every gentle curve,
Observe the pattern of the whole.
The wonders of each part
Taste the pure water of life!
(Each drop of rain renews life.)
Man was the Universal Error!
But no...It is the unremembered heart
Of our beginnings,
The urge to greater futures
Causing the future into extinction!
Beauty of voice, Beauty of eye,
Beauty of body, Beauty of mind,
Beauty of action
It exists
But does too the undying cancer.
Regeneration degenerates into decadence.
Beauty does not survive,
We are the prisoners
of our own cells!
Pray to your God,
It is your 'self'.
Understand,
And the 'I' will survive
For the future generations
of our souls.
