"The fool says in his heart, there is no God" (Psalm 14:1).

I love God more than I like New York; I love God more than I like to work. I like chocolate; I like Vermont, but my love for God sprang from a font.

I love God more than I like the Mets; I love God more than placing bets. I like the stickers on a car, but my love for God is up to par.

I love God more than Styx and Stones; I love God more than ice-cream cones. I like the board-walk and the shore, but my love for God comes from the core.

I love God more than O.T.B; I love God more, unequivocally. I like some beer on a summer day, but my love for God shows me the way.

I love God more than a fast-food dish; I love God more than french-fried fish. I like good music and dancing too, but my love for God will still run true .

I love God more than sports and games; I love God more than big-star names. I like whipped-cream and apple-pie, but my love for God will never die.

I love God more than Rosemarie, although I like her anatomy. I like to hold her by the hand, but my love for God has its own brand.

I love God in all I do; I love God when I pursue; His love in return, without compare; His Word of wisdom, that I try to share.

I like your focus in this poem, George, the insight posed by the end line that you are there by invitation and the rest of it fails to lead you.....Jerry

You sing wonderfully with a spiritual message for all to heed....
