The septolet (the form I do, there are at least two) requires 14 words in 7 lines broken to two stanzas. Each stanza should stand alone and evoke an image. There should be an image brought about in the readers mind by the combined stanzas.




Vines
Ripen on the
Napa slope

Sharp
Tillamook cheddar
Compliments the vintage
Cabernet sauvignon
