The septolet (the form I do, there are at least two) requires 14 words in 7 lines broken to two stanzas. Each stanza should stand alone and evoke an image. There should be an image brought about in the readers mind by the combined stanzas.

Sharp

Parted by rocks

Carves a
Lonely
Hollow spot

Headstone
Alone
In a field of headstones

Rhythmically
Reclines
In loves dance

Rhythmic contractions

I like your Septolet collection, Bryan. A good discipline to work
on, and one which you seem to have mastered. Thanks. - Gene.
