This is another poem that will be in my novel, "Secrets of the Heart"--somewhere!

THE CURE

Cheated-mistreated, yes life is unfair,
Nothing discreet, see, there’s no one to care-
Why should I worry, this too soon will pass,
What is now blurry, is nothing but crass!
Given some time, perhaps all that is vain
Can become sublime, and I’ll live again-
For good will prevail and evil regress,
In that which I fail, I’ll quickly assess
And trust that the cure will outweigh the ill-
See, life that is pure is dead to self-will!
So give me a chance to give you my all
For then in my stance I’ll fulfill your call!
