Today, I share my heart,
because I would know you,
and be with you and hold you close
in everything I do.

Today, I share my love,
because I want your love to grow,
to flourish here and everywhere,
so everyone may know.

Today, you are my life,
because you gave it me,
and I will always be your wife,
for with these eyes, your face I'd see.

Husband True

Come to me
whene'er you please.
I'm yours forever ~
all my life for you.
Fill me, Lord.
Spill not one seed.
I'll bear your children,
live your precious word.
My husband true ,
my love for you
grows richer
every day.
I'm no more blind.
This heart you'll find
now seeking you
in every way.
My words cannot define
all that you are to me.
Though ever here,
though oh so dear,
you're more than words can be.
Perfection, strength,
most beautiful love,
my Jesus,
I love you.
And when I can't be
in your arms,
I crave your mind
in all I do.

All Things to Me

I've summed up all my life
in your sweet face
and find my love full present
in your warm embrace.
You've now become all things to me,
all blessings here and history.
You shine, my King,
eternal ring
of living fire's soul's desires
at the finish
of this suffering race.

And when I've failed
to there transcend,
I've grasped no prize,
nor happier end.
When lost your face
I cannot trace
my life nor love
nor sweet embrace.
But if I please you,
wondrous man,
your perfect hands
do form Earth's plan.

Endless Gift

My endless gift
who cannot die,
rain soft upon
failed beauty's lie,
for she must claim
"All ends too soon"
(so sings her sad,
ephemeral tune),
and by such grief
the heart is lost,
so strength gives way
at such a cost.

My endless gift,
do herald here
to whom in joy
brief beauty wear,
and make our path
a longer stretch;
upon our mind
impressions etch;
for wisdom is
thy source and guide
who from the helpless
cannot hide.

Our endless gift,
thou womb of life,
now nourish toward
this end of strife,
for children cry,
contend and beg,
while mercy warms
the fragile egg.
As mercy hides
the tender heart,
provision gives
her infinite part.

Love Poem

My dear and precious Lord,
your presence fills my heart with love.
To think of you is peace.
To know you is the stars above ~
so infinite in light ~
so beautiful, so full of wonder
shining bright o'er all
and scattering dark from under.

Why have you known me, Lord?
This isn't just a dream.
I've seen your face ~ I've felt your heart ~
I've studied all your scheme.
Please teach me all your mind.
Please fill my life with joy.
And tell me that I'm yours ~
I'll never be your toy.

I love you, heavenly Lord.
I know I'll love you all my days ~
believe in you, remember you,
keep all your thoughts in all my ways.
I cherish you, my Lord.
I'll perish not within your arms,
for when I am with you,
I know I'm safe from all life's harms.

Another day has come.
Another night is passed.
Be with me now and evermore,
and make my love light last.
I'm weak, I know, dear God.
I know I need your strength.
But you, so wonderful, so great
will conquer all time's length.
