All the baggage
We carry
Throughout our lives
Weigh us downward
Into oblivion
At times-
Closing doors behind you...
Your past is your past,
Present, all it can be,
Future, yours for the asking

I always think of that Bible story about Lot's wife looking back at the cities being demolished and in doing so turned into a pillar of salt. I'm going to share this on my facebook timeline with your permission first, of course.

Love ya!

Oh yeah, that's a fact. All my doors have been closed. I live happily because of it.
