I Shed A Tear

For all those times you were down
And just wanted to drown...
My dear friend...
I shed a tear

For all those times I saw someone hurting...
Oh precious souls...
I shed a tear

For when my loved ones weren't near...
I shed a tear

For each time i've lost a close mate...
Good to me were they...
I shed a tear

For when I could not have the one I love...
Deep in my heart is he...
I shed a tear

For each time I'm filled with mixed emotions...
Anger, love, sorrow, fear...
I shed a tear

But most of all for the people who are placed so deep in my heart...
Of great value are they...
I shed a tear
A tear of sadness...
when they're down and have a frown
And a tear of joy...
when they have happiness in their heart...
or have achieved something of great value to them
True friends are they
Forever in my heart they'll stay

We all need to shed tears whenever they need to come. It clears us for a new beginning and takes away old hurts. True friends do stay forever in your heart. Everyone needs many friends throught their lifetime. God Bless You, Friend.
