The mist in my eyes is red
Overshadowed by green undertones
Of the love that we just had…or was it lust?
And the fire that I see now
Is the result of the past
I want to live in my future

I am blissfully happy lying in your arms
My body tingling
At the touch of your lips between my thighs
My fingertips trace your eyes
Wanting more as I wonder if this is how it felt for you
With the girl from the night before

I close my eyes and try to breathe
The pink air of reality
As it hits me that this was never love
In my sleep I dream of you and have nightmares of us
Falling in deeper than we need to

You fill me to capacity as I arch and moan for your benefit
Silently wishing I was somewhere else
I can’t believe my eyes as your lips move and I hear I love you
Not able to say it back I scream in mock-orgasm
To distract you from the black note in my heart singing out for release

The mist in my eyes is red
Overshadowed by green undertones
Of the lust that we just had
That you thought was love…

Very well done...sensual, lusty but with a bit of sad darkness also.

Beautifully flowing and sensual. Well done.

"...To distract you [form] the black [not] in my heart..."

I think you mean [knot]. Your spell check wouldn't have picked up either. We read what we [think] we wrote.
