Living With The Dying
by Jennifer Miller

A touching, loving and spirtual insight of the dying process, filled with peace, smiles and starting on their journey, taking me with them as far as I could go, returning..

What has happened in one day,
Affects a turmoil of others
My brain is at a standstill
With nothing come in or going out
My imagination is dull
Putting pen to paper
Just doesn’t seem to make sense anymore
Who is listening anyway?
With cheers of congrats
A pat on my back
Well done they all say
But I am not done yet
I just came out
And stepped into this thing called life
Living the possible dream
That I have created and still continue to create
Forming beings for you to read
Creating a setting for you to see
Pages filled with black lines
Love, pain and drama
Afflict their lives
Crumpled trees on my floor
Crumpled issues unfolding no more
Keys on boards
Typed with a liquid flow
Are ceased in thoughts
Behind eyes which ponder
Wonder
Search
Research
Brainstorming
Nothing flows
Coming in nor out
A day wasted
Could be day dreaming
Leave and come back and still nothing
Words like
“He extends his hand and we go to the dance floor
Wining on each other
Feeling the cool breeze pass between our legs,
Our hands, our chests
Our breaths….”
Stumbled into a punctuation mark of three full stops
Marking the end of my sentence
Who still is listening anyway?
Welcome to my world
I am a writer with writer’s block

WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE. AND THOUGH IT IS A FRUSTRATING TIME, INEED, THERE ARE TIMES WHEN ONE JUST HAS TO 'WAIT' FOR THE INSPIRER TO COME BACK. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...
