Stories that are worth hearing make me feel alive. My internal dialogue does that for me. I want to taste what the author taste.

The More I See You

I am a spontaneous romantic and the two are a painful and dangerous combination.

I love to paint a picture of romance all around her and hold it still with a frame of security. A scenario where she feels she just stepped into a movie or film; things are better than she expected. She melts with the mountains and goes down like the sun; only to rise asking for more. I love her passion; making her smile becomes my desire and I make her because it validates us. We are real, because the feelings on her face that protrudes from her lips tell me I am. Her friends verify me, they giggle like young school girls, and she giggles with anticipation. Her mother knows her daughter is in deep, her father only smiles and stares. I make love to her; I have waited so long just to know her that way. The wine and love on the floor, legs in twined, we both smile so big it hurts. My heart hurts, because I know what I know. Will she still love me? I can’t bare to hurt her, I would rather die. She walks down my stairs in a sundress with virgin like skin; at least that is how I see her. Smile that makes my night disappear; is she finally here? Have I been praying for you, have I been waiting? How can I be sure? I talk to myself, who else is there? She never knows; she never knows that she has met me for the first time, as if I am reborn, that no one has met me this way. I LIVE! When her blues eyes smile. I hear her cry, my phone grows static, I can’t bear this let me run, her pain or mine, and I would rather die. I can only see her miles away, my focus is unclear. This isn’t about anyone else, but how would she know? My mind turns and I can’t bare to look; I hide my eyes, I hide my heart, I block her face from my pictures.
I watch her leave……….that line is long……don’t go……..you have never looked more beautiful than you do right now. I smell you on my shirt…..you cried a little….I saw…….I know how you feel because I caused it……..I know how you feel…….because I feel just like you………Don’t leave…..you have too……I know….God knows I cant wait to see you……Even to go back……our wine on a hill, the way you feel, the way I feel, Did I just meet you? It can’t be….we have friends in common……Can I kiss you?.........Don’t ask……just do it…….Is that the end…..that person feels good…..like a familiar soul……Did we just meet?.........It cannot be. I need a travel buddy too……not just for vacation I think to myself……life is the longest thing we will ever do………..Who will look after her?...........I want too……. She will never believe me…….Can you pick me up at the airport? Can you give me something to look forward to?.......I would love nothing more….we sure do text a lot. I can’t remember what she looks likes….that’s her on the ramp…..just like I remember. Comfortable…….I bet that’s your suitcase!! She smiles with pink pokey dots….I was right….Lets go home…I never want you to leave….But we just met…..I don’t want to leave……is this real?....You can see how I could doubt…… Do people do this…….No??? Does that make it more real? Meet her friends? I am so nervous……..I love seeing her….. TV and all….so close we could touch…she likes me…I can finally tell…………………………………………………………………………We cook…….I still have the wine bottle…..you wrote on it……it hurts to reflect……You are leaving and I doubt…..I doubt everything……but I know how we feel……do I make sense…………Memories flood……Don’t leave…..please stay……I cant come……I knew you wouldn’t…..I didn’t….I meant what I said…….I believed in you……I love you…..You lied….I didn’t mean too…..I cant trust you…..My intentions were good…..I never meant to take, I wanted to share……..This beach is beautiful and you make me hurt…..I hurt because I love you more than me……you would be here if you did……….You just don’t know…..I know what you show….. I failed her…..I am sorry…..She cant pretend….I am not as good……her face smiles at me through pictures……drunkenness kills my confidence…..I did it again……..everyone thinks I am evil….Why would that make her happy?….I never meant to take…..I only wanted to share…….you have never looked more beautiful than you do right now. When I live…..I feel….When I live.
