Out of the hearth comes a flicker;
Then it begins to glow; then many tiny flickers
And they unite and grow.
Oneness is the theme
As out of its burning core
Come ripples of blood red fire,
Fire that upwards soar.
Now eating at depths of feeling
The fuel it timely consumes
Till at last it's a mass of burning
A fire beyond control
A hungry ignited richness
In a hearth that is but a soul.
