Passage of Time

Time is a gift of nature,
Seeds grow and flowers blossom.
Our own seed grows,
And the coming years will see it blossom.

Every minute that passes,
Every hour that fades,
Every day that darkens,
Inside a small protected consciousness,
Awaits the passage of time.

Anxiety and worry,
Are the lives of many a parent?
Time is telling upon my woman,
Once an honest working lady,
Now faces the challenge of being a mum.

Me I just support,
Rub and ease the aches and strains.
My feelings are well,
Lets just say the proudest.
Would only be the sparkle,
Of a single dewdrop on the morning grass.

All my insides just gleam,
Shimmer with joy and glee.
I can’t believe just how lucky I am.
