When this journey on earth ends and I get to Glory;
I have gotta see King Jesus and tell Him my story.
When I see my Lord, here’s what I would like to do,
I will bow and I will say to Him, “Let me talk to you”.
At the second that I see Him great praise will erupt.
I shall thank Him for the many times He lifted me up.
I will give thanks for mercy and for counting my tears.
I will praise Him for not leaving me for all those years.
Before I shout with the angels and dance in the light,
There is something I have to do; an errand of delight.
As my eyes spot Jesus I shall make my way through.
I will say, “Hello King of Kings, Let me speak to you”.
I shall then spend eternity giving my Lord His praise.
I will thank Him for redemption in man’s darkest days.
Because Christ gave HIS life, my life is created anew.
For all that Jesus has done; it is the very least I can do.
I will thank Him for the cross; for His enduring passion.
For imparting His grace and mercy in spite of my actions,
Priority one is to thank Jesus for lighting my way “through”.
Bowing politely I’ll say, “My king, may I please talk to you”?

|As you look forward to that day, you see yourself asking for a chance to speak to Jesus. I see myself as being dumbstruck from being in His visible presence.
I enjoyed this poem, and the praise that fills each verse. He is worthy.
