A gentle wind stirred the poinciana leaves, and the sky pencil tree leaned side ways then upright again. Out to the east, we heard a far away sound, a sound that stoked the deeper fire of peace and tranquility...a bird singing a happy song, of a sudden it touched off a chorus from other birds. The wind moaned in the trees and the birds sang endless delightful songs.
We sat there in the cool of the evening, they with their wishes and I with mine. I wish the trees could talk, then they would tell the story of a land so true , the story of this great land. For this was the land that recognizes the importance of values and principles, the land where spirituality was placed first on its chain of values, where integrity and honesty were even more important than the very foods that were eaten for sustinence. This was the nation of accountability, respospnsibility, frugality, quality, service and hospility. This was the land of emotional intelligence, moral intelligence and ethical intelligence, the land where excellence and greatness abounds...the land of the stars and stripes.
If you assume the best from others; they will change accordinginly. Remember, leadership is explaining other peoples capabilities in such a way that they come to see and beleive it in themselves.
