Within your reflection, I taste nothing of you;
Your way of life, written down on scrap.
1. Breathe in, 2. Breathe out, 3. Lie.
Lie to yourself and mistakably I.
Hunched over your knees, practically kissing your feet.
This isn't how you are.

Under your sun, you stand outstretched;
The instructions to how you live, tossed away.
Here you are undoubtedly free.
But get joy from the imprisonment you recieve.
The executioner is your equal.
Tonight I am the jester of jealousy.

You laugh in my face with a knife in my chest.
You laugh in my face with a mask on yours.
You are crippled by yourself,
I'm crippled by you as well.
Don't you notice your stance?
This isn't how you are.

I thrive off the world you've made me.
Isolation for us is when you really show through.
I cannot love the man in the mirror.
But I can't help but love him too.
