Roaming the streets, tired feet with blackness underneath; unshoed feet with overworn sneaks. A blank lonely stare, as emptiness overwhelms your despair. Uncarring faces with uncompassionate traces, unlaced and unembraced. Leaving you with a bad taste, and still unplaced.

Reality is always painful. "But out of adversity's crucible come strength of character and will, and a man discovers he is able to reach his goals, his dreams fulfill." (Resilience, 2008)
Write from your pain, draw out from your dreams, and create poems like these.
