Remember my love
That deep within my drowning tears
Lay the remains of a retired past,
The presence of confusing questions,
And the wonder of what is to come.
And what is to come, I shall not know,
Nor predict the finality of our future.
Though I will tell you what is true
About the path that I shall follow.
I will hold on tight to the extended arms that Confirm your endless love;
And smile when I think of all that has been
And all that is meant to be.
In return I vow to you this,
That my love is everlasting,
My tenderness will caress your soul,
And my tears will slowly turn to dust.
