(((sue)))
you captured the frustration every author feels--i've been there
whaaaat? me, of the 750 plus poems, get writer's block? yep.
it happens. to all of us. including me. beLIEVE me, i struggle at times. not often, but when it does, it's DEVASTATING.
i look at poets like judeace. eileen. kate clifford. josie bohan. robert blackwell. andre. floria. lori. dreamweaver. regis. so many more worthy to be called poet. and then there's me...little me, running off at the mouth, wondering if i'll EVER be heard, will i EVER have a book or be read.
sometimes, i'm awakened by poems; most of the time, i sit down in front of the blank computer screen, and a word or line comes to me...and i just type the first thing that comes to mind. sometimes, i like the direction it's headed, another time, "DELETE" damn damn damn!
i hope your muse doesn't fight you any more, and may your pen and inspiration never run dry
((((HUGS)))) and love, karla. |
