| this is a choker, Linda, as my own daughter has just celebrated her 18th birthday and has known dark days herself...how brave of you to articulate the hope that we share, that we "see through the mirror darkly" and that life is a great gift that is to be appreciated on a daily basis with an "attitude of gratitude": to be celebrated as such always and to be grieved and yet cherished when it has past. However, as you say, a belief in the greater continuum is everything and sometimes we just have to believe that we look down the wrong end of the telescope at life, which is, in spiritual terms, so much more enduring. My thoughts and prayers are with you, family and friends, in the assurance that "blessed are those who NEED to mourn for they SHALL be comforted"...let life's journey continue, for Jade's sake.
