Not a job for the faint of heart...

Cold Winters Job…

Fishermen do go out in cold winter winds,

To make a few bucks, no one wins,

Fish are scarce this time of year,

Ocean temps very cold,

Fish, on the surface they stay near...

So much easier to spot,

Seagulls doing their job for them,

Feeding off the surface schools,

Using their nets, the fisherman, raise into pools…

Not a job for the faint of heart,

Before you apply you better at least start,

A working relationship with your muscles & strength,

For without those, this job is not your cup of tea, no it ain’t…

I couldn’t do it, no way in hell,

Would rather do a job I hate so well,

Like that of the real estate sell,

Because with fisherman, this job they do excel…

I have family who make their living fishing. I'm sure they'd love this.

You are right, Ed. Fishing of a living is not an easy job. Thank you for this portrayal. Love and peace to you. Regis
