Give Me a Word…
Just give me a word,
Any word will do,
Even that of turd,
But not necessarily so,
An example for you…
Any word and I can write,
A poem, a story; a haiku tonight,
I sometimes pick from the dictionary,
Just one word and expand upon it, so scary,
Never knowing where it will go,
Never knowing what it will show,
This keeps my hand in & blows,
Off steam that builds up inside my jeans…
So if you see me write, something that makes no sense,
You will know why it is so, in future tense,
Makes me happy to know I still can,
Makes me feel better when this I do, even if it is banned…
