Give me the silence that I seek The silence of darkness, the silence of the meek The silence to rest in undisturbed slumber That thoughts not put to rest seem to outnumber The silence of darkness, the silence of sleep The silence I year for, the silence I seek So give me this silence,sleep's gentle kiss That I may rest in its wonderful bliss And dream out of this world gone so wrong To dream into the night's silent song
