you have opened the festering wound of my soul
while exploring the yielding planes of long ignored flesh
poured alcohol on it
scrubbed with salt cubes
made me shake
muscles taut and trembling
cheeks burning
skin stretched
hot lava tears trailing from swollen eyes
nostrils dripping
can't see through the milky tears
as my nerves are rubbed raw
things i had worked so hard to forget
exposed and buzzing
the walls surrounding them
collapsed
ground to powder at my bloody feet
cut on the shards of porcelain
that looked like brick only yesterday
and now i'm here
lips quivering
body aching
wanting to hate you
but unable
the agony within so acute
i am going numb inside
choking on my own tongue
as animal screams claw at my cramped throat
