Always a war,
leaving a scar,
Always a fight,
don't make it wrong,
don't make it right,
just keeps fear in our sight.

Some wars last,
many of them past,
just be lucky if you're an outcast.
Way out from the scene,
not close enough to be seen.
Not in the war of death,
for your own personal health.

Some aren't so lucky,
they have to dodge and ducky.
Some spoiled American's don't appreciate,
not being in a war after it initiates.
Riding to work safe without fear,
no bombs are near.
Homes still in place,
no war to destructively erace.

Taking lifes goodness for granted,
on a crazy hostile planet.

Clean water,
safe food,
plenty of hospitals,
freedom to do,
freedom to go,
no suicidal bombers,
in large numbers,
plenty of good police officers,
not perfect but better.
Go to Mexico,
the police will put you in a hexico.
Visit Haiti,

and the beat goes on.

No wonder the enemy wants to bring it to us,
lifes just too good here.

At age 54 I appreciate,

this America.

It's my home,
not a perfect home,
but a toleratable
