Here come a lawman
pokin round my still

Don't have no plan
jus goin where he will

But he won't find me
I'm hidin behind a tree

I try to sneak away
and snap a twig under my boot

Dat lawman gonna work today
jumpin stumps in hot pursuit

But he won't catch me
cause Lord I'm runnin free

MP -

Many years ago, about 45, I worked with a fella from Pennsylvania, who had a distinct "stump-jumper" or "hill-billy" twang to his speeech. When anybody ever referred to him as such, Glen would beam back at them with his inimitable smile and say: "There's two kinds of people in this world - Hill-Billies and Sons-A-Bitches - I'M GLAD I'M A HILL-BILLY!"

LOL - Tom.

My dad used to make his own beer--nasty stuff. I don't think he made moonshine though. I love a good sense-of-humor, and you've got one. Welcome to AuthorsDen.
