The plural of goose is geese.

Shouldn’t many moose be meese?

The plural of mouse is mice.

Shouldn’t house turn into hice

like louse is plural of lice?

The plural of give is gave,

should many lives be called lave?

The plural of flock is bevy.

Shouldn’t clocks become ‘chevy’?

Why is English so heavy?

The plural of man is men.

Shouldn’t a fan be called fen?

A bunch of flowers, a bouquet

shouldn’t many crows be croquet?

What are you willing to bet

that we’ll master English yet?

My bet is, Sis, that not even the English scholars can agree on the mastery. A fun read, indeed!
